Giant Minds develops and delivers creative and accessible enterprise education.  True, loads of people do that.  Read on to find out why we're special...

  • We have designed creative lesson plans to link enterprise to curriculum guidelines so you don't always need to pay for facilitation
  • We have a legacy of providing funding opportunities to entrepreneurial young people to set up social enterprises
  • We are a young local passionate team that have an affinity with the audience - It's not so long since we were at school!
  • We only use fairtrade and organic ideas and don't just copy other people's stuff.  If you want to know more then check out the testimonials section or our friends section where you can hear from loads of people who know and like us
  • We are committed to a culture that encourages young people's development and that doesn't mean boring and assesment based
  • We aim to be as open and accessible to pupils of varying academic abilities as possible.  Don't worry, you need no prior knowledge of what we do!
  • We explore radical new ideas when it comes to teaching young people about enterprise and the world of work, although we would say that so check out what others think. As a member of One North East Future Entrepreneurs Educational Panel, Giant Minds develops and delivers creative and accessible enterprise education for 11-18 year olds.
  • In the last academic year 2006-2007, Giant Minds has worked with close to 9,000 students nationally; from Berwick to Brighton and Sunderland to Southampton.
  • Giant Minds clients are schools, businesses and universities. Giant Minds programmes are not text-book based: they are creative, fun and interactive, challenging students to take educated risks and be proud of their achievements.
  • Giant Minds offer day-long and week-long programmes for whole year groups. We empower students to design their own products, write their own business plans and set up their own social enterprises. In addition, pupils get to pitch their business ideas to real-life business advisors from major companies.
  • Giant Minds recognise that professional development of school staff is as important as getting outside facilitators to fulfil enterprise commitments. During An Enterprising Week, we design lesson plans for every teacher, for every lesson to link enterprise to curriculum guidelines.
