The GiantMinds team has had yet another busy month developing and delivering our creative and fun enterprise programmes to North East schools! We delivered our popular programme ‘Pandora’s Box’ to 220 year 8 pupils in Parkview Community School and 190 pupils in Norton School where the pupils were encouraged to be creative and generate new business ideas.
The Giant Minds team has also been helping year 8 pupils in the Special Educational Needs (SEN) School, Collingwood in Morpeth to produce a short animation entitled ‘Every Child Matters’ which will feature in a DVD to be made available for sale. Jenny McCrea, Business Development Manager said, “It is great to work with children of all abilities, allowing them to be creative and enterprising and introducing them to the world of business.” On top of all these wonderful things, the R & B Group came to the Giant Minds offices to produce a short film for the CoLas awards ceremony on 12th October in which we are finalists for the Learning Skills Council (LSC) ‘Working in the Community Award 2007’, so watch this space! |
