Parent Company of GiantMinds Wins An Award!

The Anything But Limited team were out in full force and in their best attire to celebrate the glamorous black tie Enterprise Challenge night 2008 hosted by Newcastle University. Recent graduate and Marketing Coordinator of GiantMinds, Sophia Barakat and newly recruited Kidology Manager Sally Kevan, were there to support their boss and Director of Anything But Limited Peter Hirst who scooped the Alumini Achievement Award and a £750 cash prize. He also came runner-up in the New Trader Award.

Enterprise Challenge is an annual competition to acknowledge creative ideas and reward business plan development. The aim is to facilitate and encourage enterprising skills among students and recent graduates, with the intention that some of the applicants use the competition as a catalyst to start up their own business. It also aims to support and celebrate emerging businesses such as Anything But Limited.

Despite some stiff opposition, with ninety three entrants submitting business plans, Anything But Limited prevailed and received the award sponsored by the Alumni Association. Peter said, "It was a tremendous evening to be involved in for all concerned and I'm over the moon that my business has been rewarded in this way.  I hope it's the first of many awards and with co-workers like Sally and Sophia I'm sure they're just around the corner."
